Until we’ve learned something from our past we cannot forget it nor can we leave it behind (as in ‘dropping’ it; ’ignoring’ it, etc). If that were possible, our past would become a wasted experience and God does not deal in waste… our whole life is important to Him… that’s why He teaches us through the good and the bad…
Do I hear an Amen?
Or is that a shake of the head I see? lol…

What a great reminder! We must all countinue to work through our baggage in order to leave it behind and move on.
Thanks Byron…
Byron recently wrote me the following message about one of my books:
“I found Excuse Me Your Unforgiveness is Showing to be one of the best books about forgiveness that I have ever read. The blending of stories and biblically based teaching makes the content of the book stand out and stick. It’s not only entertaining but gets down to the depth of ones heart and brings conviction, and fills one with hope. I found it to be more holistic then most books. No pat answers here, no christianese rather the reader or listener is exposed to an informed, well explained, deeply knowledgeable and heart felt warning of where unforgiveness leads. I recommend Excuse Me Your Unforgiveness is Showing to everyone Christian or not. It’s full of truth and beauty.”
But Greta, I like some of my baggage; and don’t really want to leave it behind!! LOL I am only kidding!
