The beauty of failure is in knowing our Father understands human failure!
He doesn’t have a nervous breakdown because you or I have failed.
Failure is a way of life but it doesn’t mean the end of our life, even though our character and reputation appear to have been tarnished. Because we failed in a certain area does not mean we’re defeated in that area. I’ve proved that when I recognize the failure, I must immediately flea to Father’s lap. It’s there I hear Him say sweet words of comfort:”Not to worry, my child…with Me all things are possible. Get up and start running again!” What He’s trying to get across to me is that He will always give me another chance to prove His Goodness…to prove His Promise to ‘bring good out of my chaos’. If you’re wallowing in defeat and failure today, just know that you don’t have to stay there. Run to Father’s waiting arms. Admit the failure! Feel Father’s Hug! Get back on the track and start running again!
Remember this . . . Peter failed miserably and was disappointed in himself. But on the third day, when Jesus resurrected, he told the two ladies: “Go tell Peter I’m Alive…it’s o.k”
What was Jesus doing? He was qualifying Peter, first to the ladies and then Peter himself. Come out of the shadows…get on with being a disciple, follower and servant of the One he had betrayed. It all turned out for the good!
