Have you ever been asked these questions?
”How can I love the sinful without being sinful with them?”
My response:
“This blows religious minds, but for starters, let’s do what Jesus did. He was a friend to them!
Oh, and another thing, He told us not to judge them [when we see their sin] They are blind to what they are doing. They need your Light to shine in their darkness. Remember, light doesn’t talk…it’s just what it is….itself. If you are being Christlike, you don’t have to always put your tongue into motion. Actions do speak louder than words! Most of the time! If you are loving God; if you are in Awe of Him and His love for you; then you will love yourself enough to love your neighbour….sinful or not.”
Love compassionately, live/walk honestly, listen non-judgementally. Bless! Don’t curse!
“How can I forgive the unforgiveable?”
My response: “God forgave you, didn’t He? He looked beyond your fault and saw your need, did He not?” I can hear Him saying to you: “Get over yourself. Go and do likewise!”
“How can I live as radically as Jesus did?”
My response: ” If the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead is in you, then be simple enough to believe that He is with you, ’round-the-clock-twenty-four -seven’….respond to His invitation to climb into His yoke with Him. If you will do that you are bound to learn his radicalism. You’ll feel freer than ever to love the unlovely, touch the untouchable, forgive the unforgiveable and give what you have to the poor.”
It’s as uncomplicated as that!
