Dads, please know that you bring blessings and balance to the lives of your sons and your daughters.  Your children have a better chance at being happy, successful, and doing great things in life, when you are there for them.

Impressive data from social research confirms that the world is a better place because of your loving commitment to your family. They have proved that if you are there and involved in their daily living, your children are 50% more likely to get A's in high school and go on to college.

Not only that, but just having you around, being their friend, means your children are over 60% less likely to get into trouble or see the inside of a juvenile jail.

And your daughters? Well, if you are not around and involved, your daughters are twice as likely to become sexually involved at a young age. Predictably, they have a 70% higher chance of getting pregnant outside of marriage.

The list of positive things that you bring into your children's life is long.

It is clear... you make the difference!

Blessing your child's good qualities helps to weaken/eliminate their annoying habits and weaknesses.  A spoken blessing ( not necessarily prayer mode) by a father over his son or daughter sets the child up for success. The ceremony of a spoken blessing contributes to the building of strong character  while encouraging the child towards right choices.  They will have a sense of direction in their life that other children, who have not been blessed by their father, don't have.

It is never too late to start! 

Recently, many women who attended a seminar on this subject were weeping because they had never experienced a father's blessing spoken over them.  The pastor and one of his godly elders stepped forward, offering to stand in proxy for the absentee fathers.

Every woman in the building, including myself, stepped into the line-up.   It was powerful. I had always sensed there was a missing ingredient in my life. In a sweet way it was added to my life-mix that morning, when a proxy father spoke blessing over me, confirming deep losses from the past as well as affirming present purpose. 

Please don't let your son's and daughters go through life without the riches of God's blessing being spoken over them by you I
